Work on mosque in street 13 of sector G-16/4 is underway. The ground floor has been finished and soon congregational prayers will be led. Ground work for another mosque in street 6 of sector G-16/4 has been completed.

Underground Water Tank:

An underground water tank in sector G-16/3 has been completed and will be made functional soon to supply water to the residents.

Overhead Water Tank:

Fast paced construction continues on overhead water tank in sector G-16/3 and is due to be completed soon.

Sector G-16/3 Phase 1:

85% of work has been completed in Phase 2 of sector G-16/3. Possession has been granted to the members. Houses are being built at a fast pace.

Sector G-16 Markaz:

Development of sector G-16 markaz has been completed fully. All the members have been granted the possession of the commercial plots. Amongst these plots, construction on two has already started.

Security System:

Cameras have been installed in whole of sector G-16/4, G-16/3 and G-16 markaz. The central control room is fully operational to guarantee safety and security of the residents.

On 29 July 1984, sector G-16 or Ministry of Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme abbreviated as MIECHS was registered with Circle Registrar Co-operative ICT Islamabad vide Registration No 184 under the Cooperative Societies Act 1925. (Dated 30th July 1984 corresponding to notification number.1782-87/CRI/E).

  • Upon meeting the terms and conditions of development and urbanization a No Objection Certificate (NOC) was issued by CDA (Capital Development Authority) on 7th October 2010 vide letter no. CDA/PLW-HS (90).
  • On 23rd May 2005 the Layout Plan was approved by CDA vide letter no. CDA/PLW-UP (157) 05/1859.
  • Circle Registrar Cooperative Societies approved the By-Laws of the Society Islamabad vide on 23 November 2005 in letter No. /CR/ICT/B/184.
